New York Court Dismisses Class Action Against Micromobility.com (Helbiz) and Salvatore Palella

Micromobility.com Inc., an electric micromobility company known for the Helbiz brand and with Palella Holdings as its principal shareholder, announces that, with a judgment of July 8, 2026, the Federal Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York rejected the certification request for the class action brought against Salvatore Palella(founder and CEO of Palella Holdings) and micromobility.com itself in the context of thelitigation relating to the Helbiz Coin cryptocurrency, launched in 2018 by Salvatore Palella. The plaintiffs did not file an appeal within the time limits provided by law.The decision has therefore become final, ending, after more than six years of litigation, the attempt to pursue the case as a class action. The ruling represents a fundamental step in the entire matter and constitutesan important judicial victory for micromobility.com and for Salvatore Palella, against whom in recent years serious accusations that were never proven on matters that were still subject to judicial investigation have been presented to the public as already established facts. "This is an extremely important moment for me, for the Company and for all those who have continued to believe in the correctness of our conduct. From day one we have placed full trust in American justice and have decided to defend ourselves exclusively in the courts, without resorting to media campaigns. – declaredSalvatore Palella- For more than six years my name and that of the Company have been associated with a class action devoid of merit, which unfortunately has been the subject of great media attention throughout the world and which has absorbed enormous resources for the defense not only of myself, but also of the Company and of the other parties unjustly involved. Today that class action proposal no longer exists". "The final rejection of the class action certification request represents an extremely significant milestone for the Company– declaredGian Luca Spriano, Chief Executive Officer of micromobility.com- We can now concentrate all our energies on the execution of the industrial plan, on business growth and on creating value for our shareholders. We will continue to operate according to the highest standards ofgovernance, transparency and accountability, maintaining full confidence in American justice and in the correctness of our conduct".
